So, I ordered a “Fish and Sweet Potato” ready-to-eat meal from the bodyenfit webshop this past Thursday at around 9.30pm. Partly due to my curiosity to see how bad/good a premade meal could be, but also due to practical reasons.
As a freelancer working from home it usually isn't too difficult to get solid tasty meals in, but if you're working in an office environment and you don't necessarily have time to meal-prep…well, this sort of stuff could turn out to be a solution.
So how was it, you ask? It was freaking delicious. The nutritional value is also pretty impressive with about 40 grams of protein coming from the piece of fish and 55 grams of clean carbs (sweet potato, zucchini). At about 6,5 Euro per meal I think it's a reasonable deal, because I'm not sure I could prep that same meal (fish is expensive!) for much cheaper than that. Plus I'm willing to pay a bit extra given the time I'm saving.
I understand it's a Dutch website so it'll be difficult/impossible for American readers to order but then again, you guys already have a variety of meal-prep services available! :)
But damn, that sweet potato was seriously epic! I'm definitely going to try and order some more meal from them in the near future and I will report back to you guys if it's on the same level or not!
