The results of the study, conducted among 4200 women, indicate that the daily presence of olive oil in our diet reduces the risk of this type of cancer by as much as 68%.
Scientists attribute this oil effect to the unsaturated fat (known as good) and certain phytonutrients.
This is not the first study on olive oil as a factor reducing the risk of breast cancer. Data from a study conducted in the United States also show that the so-called A Mediterranean diet - and especially its daily presence of large quantities of olive oil - undoubtedly have a healthy effect and scientists recommend eating at least three spoons of olive oil a day .
If this effect is not enough, nutritionists are unanimous: when we eat olive oil, we satisfy hunger faster and consume less food as a whole. Good news for the weakening!
